1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SnapSpend ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SnapSpend is an AI-powered receipt scanning and expense tracking application. The App uses artificial intelligence to extract data from receipt images and provides budgeting, analytics, and financial coaching features.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

SnapSpend offers a free tier (50 scans per month) and a Pro subscription at $4.99/month. Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Payments are processed by the app store, not by SnapSpend. Subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by the app store per their policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
Upload receipts that contain fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content
Interfere with the App's security, servers, or networks
Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App
Attempt to circumvent scan limits or subscription restrictions

6. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for high accuracy, AI-powered receipt extraction may occasionally produce errors. You are responsible for verifying critical information. The App is not a substitute for professional financial or tax advice.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by SnapSpend and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapSpend shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The total liability of SnapSpend shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and we may delete your data after 30 days. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
